PlayOn Shipping Policy
SURCHARGES
- OUTLYING AREAS - These are areas that fall outside of the main delivery centres. An additional surcharge may apply for outlying areas. An invoice will be sent to you for payment prior to dispatch.
WHAT ARE YOUR WORKING HOURS
- Our working hours are 8am to 4pm on Monday - Thursday, Friday 8am – 1pm.
- We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
- If you live in South Africa, your order will be delivered via a door-to-door courier service. Please make sure there is someone at your address between 8am and 5am Monday to Friday. You will be contacted and informed of the date that your order will be dispatched to ensure someone is there to sign for and receive the order.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
- We ship orders on Monday - Friday. Deliveries/collections do not take place over weekends or public holidays.
- Orders take 1 to 5 working days to arrive from date of shipping, depending on your geographic location. Please allow a week (7 working days) for an order to arrive in outlying areas.
- For “in-stock” orders paid via 'Bank Deposit" please note that payment needs to reflect in our account before your order will be processed and dispatched to you. This may take up to 5 days from the date of placing the order. Order processing and dispatch commences only after payment is received on our end.
- Softplay orders which need to manufactured will follow our production lead time. Please note that our production lead time is generally 4 weeks, from that date that payment is reflected in our bank account. We do make every effort to complete smaller orders sooner; however, we cannot guarantee that they will be completed before the standard 4-week production lead time. Once the order is completed, dispatch will take 2-3 working days.
- Playground equipment orders, which require installation from our team, will need to be scheduled directly with the PlayOn sales office. Please send your enquiry to info@playon.co.za and an installation date will be arranged for you.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
- Yes! We will send you a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
IS INSURANCE INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING CHARGE?
- No, insurance is not included. Should you wish to take up insurance for your order, please contact us once your order is placed so we can quote and invoice you for insurance, which will be taken out directly with the courier company. We highly recommend taking up insurance for high-value orders against theft, highjacks, breakage and leakages that may occur during transit. PlayOn is not liable for any loss, breakage, leakage and any damage that may occur during transit.
I WOULD LIKE TO PLACE AN ORDER BUT I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH PAYFAST
- PayFast is a safe and secure online payment service, similar to PayPal. PayFast processes payments in South African Rands. It is easy to use and totally free for buyers. To learn more about PayFast, please visit their website.
CAN I ONLY PLACE AN ORDER VIA THE ONLINE STORE?
- If you do not feel comfortable placing an order via our online store, feel free to email us at info@playon.co.za or send us a WhatsApp on 061 034 4700 so we may guide you via our offline method.
I WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT MY ORDER - IS THIS POSSIBLE?
- Yes, sure! Please feel free to collect your order in person or send a courier company of your choice. Just remember to wait for the "order ready to collect" email or telephonic notification before doing so.
- If you are sending a courier company to collect on your behalf, please send us relevant details such as courier company name, waybill number and expected time of collection.
ALTERNATIVE COURIER SERVICES?
- Please note that if you arrange your own couriers to collect your parcel(s) from our factory, it is your responsibility to provide us with the necessary contact details to release parcel(s) and to ensure a waybill is provided and/or collection pin. Parcel(s) will only be released if the amount has reflected into our account. It is your responsibility to ensure your courier packages your items correctly and safely for transport.
- We do not take responsibility for items damaged by your own courier services even if we packaged items on your behalf, as it will not be covered under our insurance. Thus, we recommend you make use of our courier option.
INVOICING?
- If you require a manual invoice or purchase order for your business or organization, please just reach out to us via info@playon.co.za or call us on (011)493-4456 or 061 034 4700 and we will happily arrange this for you.
WHERE ON EARTH IS MY ORDER?
- You may track your order using the link that you receive with your shipping notification.
- Shipping or delivery service is a service that we provide on behalf of our customers using paid 3rd party service providers. Once the packages leave our premises, we are not in-control of transit times and delivery areas.
- If you require information regarding your parcel once it has been dispatched, please contact the courier company for speedy assistance.
- When problems occur, we do our utmost best to assist our customers, but ultimately the responsibility lies with the courier company.
WHAT ABOUT FREE SHIPPING?
- Who doesn't love free shipping? We would love to offer free shipping, but with our pricing structure there is just no way we could! In an effort to keep our product pricing competitive, we do not filter the cost of shipping into our prices. Our shipping services are provided by 3rd party providers that have to be paid, and we, unfortunately, cannot absorb the cost.
