PlayOn was created in 2003 by its founder and CEO Colin Levin, with a passion for urban design solutions that overcome the limitations of space and functionality. Colin’s background in engineering, unwavering belief in the power of play and innate ability to tap into the uninhibited and imaginative world of children is infused in PlayOn’s designs and brand.  

Every child is unique. Our designs aim to reflect the many ways that children play and learn. Environments and equipment that consider the whole child and say back to them - you matter greatly. Environments that are built on values of diversity, equality and inclusion. That balance freedom with structure, risk with safety, exploration with regulation and the individual with the community.    

PlayOn is an online retailer based in South Africa with customers in over 20 countries around the world. Our Design Studio and Factory are located in Selby, installations teams spread across sites nationwide and interactive showroom, where you can meet one of our sales consultants to discuss your project, in Dunkeld.  

Our full spatial and product design solution begin with a thorough dialogue with our client to understand their needs, space, vision and core values. This is reflected in a design strategy, presented with a three-dimensional layout of the concept, itemized quote and professional installation plan if required. Depending on the size and scope of the project a design fee will be incurred that will be credited towards project implementation costs.

Our manufactured products are handcrafted with care by our dedicated team of craftsmen in our Factory in Selby. Our experienced installation teams are spread across sites nationwide, building and installing diverse playscapes varying in scope and design complexity.
